About shared recipes
A recipe is addressed by a random 22-character id and nothing else. Anyone with the link can read it. Unless its maker publishes it in the community recipes, there is no list, no search and no way to guess one.
These pages are not indexed by search engines. The site is built as static files and this page fetches its recipe in the browser, so a crawler only ever sees an empty shell. That is deliberate rather than an oversight: a link like this is made to be pasted to a person, and it means nobody's recipe turns up in a search result they did not ask for.
Only the browser that saved the recipe can change it, using the edit link it was given when it saved. If it was saved while signed in, the account can change it too.
History
