How these are worked out
Materials count in the month the batch was made. The lye is what the recipe told you to weigh out, at the purity it was set to. A batch logged without a recipe is left out, and the page says how many were.
Costs are at today’s prices: the average cost of the item in your stock or, where the stock has none, the price you last gave on the Cost and price page. A material with neither shows a dash and is left out of the total.
Stock value is what is on the shelf today at its average cost. An item with no cost yet is left out of it, and so are archived items.
Sales are the ones recorded on the finished goods page in the last twelve months, by the day of the sale. Gifts, samples and losses are not sales.
