High-Oleic-Erdnussöl

INCI-Bezeichnung: Arachis Hypogaea Oil.

Table 3, fatty acid compositions (%) of the fat of oil bodies from nine high-oleic peanut cultivars (National and Local Joint Engineering Laboratory for Peanut Genetic Improvement).

Codex CXS 210 has no separate high-oleic arachis column: its single arachis oil column (current print) is wide, C18:1 35.0-80 and C18:2 4.0-43.0, and the existing arachis-oil record carries it. This record gives the narrower composition of high-oleic cultivars, from two open-access analyses from China. Typicals: Li et al. 2023 (Ultrasonics Sonochemistry 100:106604), Table 4, control oil CK (cold-pressed high-oleic peanut oil from cultivar Ji Hua 18, Xinjiang), fatty acids %: C14:0 0.01, C16:0 6.19, C16:1 n-7 0.07, C17:0 0.05, C18:0 2.25, C18:1 n-9 74.55, C18:2 n-6 9.01, C20:0 1.29, C20:1 1.83, C18:3 n-3 0.05, C21:0 0.01, C20:2 0.00, C22:0 2.95, C22:1 n-9 0.15, C23:0 0.03, C24:0 1.59; SFA 14.37, UFA 85.63 %. C17:0, C21:0 and C23:0 have no key. Min/max add Zhang et al. 2026 (Foods 15:177), Table 3, fat Soxhlet-extracted from the oil bodies of nine high-oleic cultivars (Y37, Y65, J16, J572, J6, Z215, G37, H985, K1715), %: C16:0 6.15-7.54, C18:0 1.43-4.37, C18:1 77.14-82.03, C18:2 1.04-4.13, C20:0 0.94-1.95, C20:1 1.30-2.41, C22:0 2.30-3.19, C24:0 1.11-1.77 (no 16:1, 18:3 or 22:1 reported). So oleic acid runs about 75-82 % by cultivar and linoleic falls correspondingly; the most oleic cultivars (above 80 % oleic, linoleic below 4 %) fall outside the Codex arachis column. NO SAPONIFICATION OR IODINE VALUE is published in either paper, so both are null; the build derives the saponification value from the profile. Codex's Appendix values for arachis oil (saponification value 187-196, iodine value 77-107) are not transferred, because they belong to the whole arachis column and the most oleic cultivars here fall outside it. A Korean analysis with physicochemical data (Applied Biological Chemistry 2017, 60:653, cultivar K-Ol, 80.63 % oleic) was read through a subscription and is not cited as a source because it is not open access. The INCI name, CAS, EC and saponified names are those CosIng gives for peanut oil generally (Arachis Hypogaea Oil does not distinguish the high-oleic type).
