Your account
Optional. The calculators, the ingredient pages and saving a recipe all work with no account at all. An account keeps your recipes, batches, stock and the rest, and shows them on any device you sign in from.
Not signed in.
You have an invite code. Sign in, or create an account, and it will be waiting in your plan section.
You have a team invite. Sign in with the address it was sent to, and you will join.

Write this code down now
Write the recovery code down now. It is shown once, and it gets you back into this account even if you lose the password and the mailbox.
Tick the box first. Nothing else on this page works until you do, because this is the last time the code is on screen.

Your account has no public name yet. Recipes you save are published under it. Choose one
Signs out every browser and phone holding this account, this one included.
Your saved recipes
The recipes you saved while signed in. Anything you saved signed out still opens from its own link; it is simply not listed here, because nothing can list an anonymous recipe.
Nothing here yet. Work something out in the lye calculator and save it while you are signed in, and it lands in this list.

Every save keeps a version of the recipe. With Maker you can compare any two and put one back.

Ways to sign in
This account has no password. Set one below if you want one; until then, sign in with a connected account or a passkey.
Passkeys
Sign in with your phone or computer’s own lock (Face ID, a fingerprint, Windows Hello) instead of a password. The passkey stays on your device; this site keeps only its public half.

Change your password
Change your email address
Your address is mixed into your password before the browser scrambles it, so a new address means scrambling the password again here. That is why this form asks for the password as well.
The site writes only about what you tick here, only to an address you have confirmed, and never a newsletter. Every mail has a link that stops it.
Team
People who work in your workshop: they see and change your recipes, batches, stock and products, as their role allows. What they make stays yours when they leave.
A team is part of the Business plan: up to four people besides you, each with a role.
Try it free for 30 days See plansA maker can change anything. A packer logs batches, stock and finished goods. A viewer reads.

API keys
Read your recipes, batches, stock and products from a shop, a spreadsheet or a script. A key only reads, and only this account. How to use it
The API is part of the Business plan.

Your data
Everything your account holds, to keep: every recipe with its history, and your batches, fragrances, targets, stock, finished goods and dossiers. The JSON file is the complete record; the spreadsheets are the tables, for Excel or Numbers.
What an account does, and what it does not
What changes when you sign up. Every calculator still runs in your browser. A recipe you save while signed in goes into the community recipes under your public name, unless you choose Private beside the Save button; a private one is addressed by a random id with no listing and no search, as a recipe saved without an account is. Either way it is tagged as yours, so this page can list it.
Keep the recovery code. When you make an account you are shown a 16-character recovery code once. It resets a forgotten password even if you have lost the mailbox too. Only a scramble of it is stored, and using it spends it and issues a replacement. Recipes you already shared still open from their links whatever happens to the account.
Or a reset link. Forgot the password but still have the mailbox? The sign-in form can send a link to the address on the account. It works for an hour, once.
What is stored: your email address, a scramble of your password, a scramble of your recovery code, the country the sign-up came from, your public name and page address, your plan, and which mail you switched on. No IP address and no browsing history. Paddle holds your card, not this site. Deleting the account deletes all of it.
How your password is kept
Your password is never sent. Before anything leaves this page the browser runs it through 600,000 rounds of PBKDF2-SHA256, salted with your email address, and sends the 256-bit result instead. The server scrambles that again before storing it. So a copy of the database holds neither your password nor anything that can be replayed as one, and the slow part of the work happens on your own machine, where there is time for it.
The minimum password length is checked in this page, not on the server. The server never sees your password, so it cannot measure one. That is the honest cost of never sending the password, and it is stated rather than hidden.
