What other makers see on your page, and who can reach you. A recipe you save goes into the community recipes unless you choose Private when you save it.

2What shows on your page

Recipes you publishAlways: publishing is the choice. Unpublish one to take it down.

Your notes on others’ recipesThe Made it tab. Each note also shows on its recipe.

On the rackFrom your batch log: what is curing, its cure day and when it is ready, and how many batches you logged. Never quantities, costs or lot codes.

ActivityWhat you published, made, remixed and commented on, newest first.

Your planFounding members keep their number for good. Maker and Business show their name; Free shows nothing.

Show your page to people who are signed outOff: signed-out visitors and search engines see only your published recipes, each on its own page.

Never shown, whatever you choose: your email, costs, stock, suppliers, batch codes and quantities, finished goods, dossiers and recipes you have not published.

3Who can reach you

Friends are people who asked and you accepted. Following someone is one-way and needs nobody’s say.

Messages from Anyone signed in Straight into your inbox. Best for a shop that takes enquiries. Anyone signed in, as requests suggested Makers you don’t follow land in Requests, one message each until you accept. Makers you follow, and your friends Everyone else sees no Message button. Friends only The quietest setting. Nobody Nobody can start a conversation with you. Ones already going carry on.

The digest goes out on Monday mornings, in the language of this page. Every mail has a link that stops it.

5Market card

A card for your stall: your name, your soap as a stripe, and a QR code that opens your page.

6Blocked and muted

A maker you block can’t see your page or follow you, and isn’t told. Muting only keeps someone out of your Following page. Both are in the ··· menu on their page.
