Ouricuriöl
INCI-Bezeichnung: Syagrus Coronata Seed Oil.

Table 3 (fatty acids and sterols of the kernel oil) and the ranges stated in the text of section 3.
Table 1 (fatty acid profile of the cold-pressed oil); corroboration only.
Dataset #13418 (SOFA TAB_006592), 1971; corroboration only.
A lauric kernel oil, close to coconut and babassu. Antoniassi, Miranda, Ferreira, Vieira, Freitas & Matsuura 2022 (Food Sci. Technol. 42:e69720; led by Embrapa Agroindustria de Alimentos): kernels from four places in the Sisal Territory, Bahia (Valente, Sao Domingos, Santa Luz, Milagres). Table 3, average +/- SD: C6:0 <=0.36, C8:0 9.2 +/- 2.6, C10:0 6.6 +/- 0.7, C12:0 46.1 +/- 1.1, C14:0 14.6 +/- 1.0, C16:0 6.5 +/- 0.7, C18:0 3.5 +/- 0.6, C18:1 10.3 +/- 1.1, C18:2 2.8 +/- 0.2, C20:0 <=0.06; the text gives the ranges across the samples: lauric 45.5-47.7, myristic 13.7-15.9, oleic 9.1-11.7, caprylic 6.7-11.4, capric 5.7-9.7, linoleic 2.6-2.9. Typical values are the table averages; ranges are the text ranges; palmitic and stearic have no printed range. The same table prints saponification value 247.3 +/- 4.7 mg KOH/g (text: 242-252) and iodine value 13.7 +/- 1.2 (text: 13-15), but the methods state that 'the iodine and saponification indexes were calculated based on the fatty acid composition'. A figure calculated from the composition is not a measurement, so both fields are null and the build derives the value from the same profile, which should land near 247. Corroboration, not merged: Gomes et al. 2026 (Inflammopharmacology 34(7):4721-4731), cold-pressed kernel oil from Capim Grosso, Bahia: caprylic 11.18, capric 6.94, lauric 45.80, myristic 13.60, palmitic 6.30, linoleic 1.40, oleic 13.24, stearic 1.54; PlantFAdb (a 1971 German deacidification paper): C8:0 10.0, C10:0 9.0, C12:0 46.0, C14:0 9.0, C16:0 8.0, C18:2 3.0, C18:1 13.0, C18:0 2.0. Bauer et al. 2013 (Acta Sci. Technol. 35(4):771-776) state lauric 43.4/44.2, myristic 13.89/14.45, oleic 12.83/12.08 and palmitic 6.87/6.92 % for refined and pressed licuri oil, but print the full table in mg/g with misaligned rows; it was not transcribed. Ouricury wax is a leaf wax with its own INCI name and is a different product.
