Strawberry Seed Oil
INCI Fragaria Ananassa Seed Oil. Also: Fragaria ananassa seed oil.
Calculate a 100 % Strawberry Seed Oil bar
That is stoichiometry on a measured composition rather than a guess, and it is about as well determined as a published figure: checked against the 35 Codex oils where both fields come from the same standard, the method's median error is 0.90 % and its 90th percentile 2.74 %, with no meaningful bias. The formula page shows the working. If you have a certificate of analysis for your lot, enter its measured value in the calculator and this estimate is set aside.

A bar made of 100 % Strawberry Seed Oil
Conventional qualities summed from the fatty-acid groups; a single-oil bar is a reference point, not a recipe.

Where these numbers come from
Sections 4.1 (seed origin) and 4.5 (FAME/GC-FID); Table 6 fatty-acid content of the seed oils, strawberry column.
Every field is Table 6 of Kieltyka-Dadasiewicz et al. 2025 (Int. J. Mol. Sci. 27(1):41, open access): strawberry (Fragaria x ananassa) seeds separated from juice pomace by a Polish processor (H.J.C. Polecki Trading, Srem; 2021), lipids Soxhlet-extracted with n-hexane, FAMEs by GC-FID: palmitic 2.16, palmitoleic 0.20, hexadecadienoic (C16:2, no key) 0.10, stearic 0.76, oleic 11.33 (10.81 n-9 plus 0.52 cis-vaccenic), linoleic 54.17, gamma-linolenic 0.10, alpha-linolenic 30.48, arachidic 0.40, eicosenoic 0.20, behenic 0.10 %; myristic and stearidonic 0.00. The paper's subtotals (SFA 3.42, MUFA 11.73, PUFA 84.85 %) reproduce exactly and the stored acids sum to 99.90 %. THIS IS ONE SAMPLE: its palmitic acid (2.16 %) is lower than most published strawberry seed oils, and the authors say fatty-acid composition was not the paper's main aim. No second strawberry seed-oil analysis could be opened - Pieszka et al. 2015 (J. Chem. 2015:659541) is open access but its host refused automated access, and PlantFAdb's only strawberry-seed row carries an unrelated publication title - so the record has no min/max. A Lithuanian study of cold-pressed berry seed oils (Ispiryan and Jariene, Foods 14(20):3494, 2025) describes strawberry oil in its text as about 42 % linoleic, 35 % alpha-linolenic and 15-16 % oleic, without an acid-by-acid table: the same very unsaturated block with the linoleic/linolenic split moved, which is usual for berry seed oils. SAPONIFICATION AND IODINE VALUE are null: not measured; the composition implies about 192 mg KOH/g. FOR SOAP: about 85 % polyunsaturated (linoleic plus alpha-linolenic), in the same class as raspberry seed oil - a small superfat addition, not a base oil. INCI 'Fragaria Ananassa Seed Oil' is an active CosIng entry without CAS or EC numbers.
