Tabela 3 (physico-chemical characteristics of the pulp oil of E. oleracea, from Pereira 2015): saponification 199, iodine 71, density 0.952, refractive index 1.46, acid value 3.66. Table layout checked against word coordinates.

Fatty acids are Nascimento, Couri, Antoniassi & Freitas 2008 (Rev. Bras. Frutic. 30(2):498-502; Couri and Antoniassi are Embrapa Agroindustria de Alimentos), Tabela 4: oil from commercial frozen acai pulp (cooperative Palamaz, Belem) extracted three ways - enzymatic from the pulp / solvent (hexane) from the pulp / solvent from the enzymatic cake: C12:0 0.04/0.07/0.08; C14:0 0.11/0.13/0.14; C16:0 25.93/26.18/26.78; C16:1 4.88/4.88/4.99; C18:0 1.86/1.81/1.74; C18:1 trans (elaidic) absent/absent/0.09; C18:1 cis-9 (oleic) 52.54/52.00/51.46; C18:1 cis-11 (vaccenic) 3.39/3.45/3.46; C18:2 9.72/7.28/8.87; C18:3 0.64/0.55/0.81; C20:0 0.12/0.11/0.10; unidentified 0.77/3.54/1.43; total saturated 28.06/28.3/28.84, total unsaturated 71.17/68.16/69.68. The ranges are min/max over the three oils; the authors found no significant difference between the extraction routes. VACCENIC ACID (C18:1 cis-11, 3.39-3.46 %) has no key in this schema and is not in 'oleic', which here is the cis-9 isomer only; with it and the unidentified peaks left out, the keyed acids add up to about 95 % of the oil. Sources that report C18:1 as one number should be compared with oleic + vaccenic. Saponification value 199 mg KOH/g and iodine value 71 g I2/100 g are the E. oleracea pulp-oil column of Tabela 3 in the Embrapa/Ministry of the Environment chapter (Oliveira et al. 2022), which credits them to Pereira (2015), a UFPA master's dissertation; the same column gives density 0.952, refractive index 1.46 and acid value 3.66 mg KOH/g. The chapter's text also quotes 'saponification 180-200, iodine 60-90, melting point 4 C' from a trading company's website (Amazonforestrading, 2017); that is a seller's page and none of it is used. The chapter's Tabela 2 fatty-acid column labelled E. oleracea (palmitic 24.0, palmitoleic 4.2, stearic 1.9, oleic 57.9, linoleic 10.5, linolenic 1.0) is credited to Schirmann (2010), whose dissertation title is about Euterpe edulis (jucara) from Santa Catarina, so it is not used here. Consistency: the Nascimento profile implies about 196 mg KOH/g and about 70 g I2/100 g, in line with 199 and 71. No melting point or unsaponifiable matter was found in an allowed document.
