Abstract only; multi-kernel ranges (SAP 170-195, IV 95-135, unsaponifiable 0.93-1.59 %) quoted in notes for context, not used for field values.

Primary source (Stryjecka & Cymerman 2026, Int. Agrophysics) characterised oil from kernels of a single Polish cultivar ('Diana', kernel oil content 30.01 %) extracted three ways: n-hexane (OH), cold pressing (PSO) and supercritical CO2 (SFT). Table 2 gives saponification value 150.86 (OH), 162.16 (PSO), 165.26 (SFT) mg KOH/g; iodine value 98.04, 99.44, 102.97 g I2/100 g (AOCS Cd 1-25); unsaponifiable matter 0.87, 0.93, 0.94 %; refractive index (40 C) 1.4437-1.4475; density (24 C) 0.84-0.92; peroxide value 1.15-1.24 meq O2/kg. Table 3 fatty acids (% of total, 13 acids detected, three methods) are the min/max above; C17:1 heptadecenoic 0.088-0.12 % goes here (not a schema key); lignoceric (C24:0) 0.01 % was found only in the hexane oil ('nb' = not detected in PSO/SFT), hence only a max is given; erucic 0.01 % in all three. sapKohMgPerG max 198.0 comes from the additional source Savic et al. 2020 (Biomolecules 10:294; Serbian kernels from Osecina, 50 g extractions) which reports SAP by extraction solvent: n-hexane 198.00, n-heptane 184.00, ethyl acetate 188.00, chloroform:methanol 193.00, acetone 180.00 mg KOH/g, plus acid value 1.41-2.81 mg KOH/g and RI 1.47-1.48; it reports no iodine value, no unsaponifiable matter and no quantitative fatty-acid table in the fetched text. The saponification value therefore spans 150.86-198.0 across the two papers (cultivar, origin and solvent dependent); no 'typical' is given because neither document prints a single mean. Ozcan, Unver & Arslan 2015 (QAS&CF 7(2), abstract only) report for a set of fruit kernels/seeds including plum a saponification number range of 170-195, iodine values 95-135 and unsaponifiable matter 0.93-1.59 %, and a plum RI of 1.478 (20 C); these are not plum-specific except the RI and are given here for context only. Melting point: not reported by any source opened (liquid oil). INCI not verified on CosIng or a producer TDS, so left null.
