Coconut milk powder
Milk soap from a powder instead of liquid milk.

What it is
Coconut milk powder is dried coconut milk sold mixed with other ingredients: Maggi’s is 78 % coconut milk powder, with maltodextrin and sodium caseinate, a milk protein. Stirred into water, 100 g with 400 mL makes 500 mL of coconut milk.

How much

When and how
- Usually: as the lye liquid.
- Also used: at light trace.
- Stir it into the recipe’s water and freeze that; the lye goes into the frozen milk.

What it does to the recipe
- 2.35 % is water, taken off the recipe’s water.
- 65.2 % is fat, which stays in the bar as extra superfat.
- 6.6 % is sugar, which heats the batch.
